Download the 1.497 Patch and install it.
You will NOT need GMM to launch custom maps anymore, as the V1.497 can host them as any normal map. You can download maps and just drag them into the Worlds folder in your gamefiles, launch the game and host it.

You can fix mouse movement issues by adding a launch command called "-framelimit [number]" (without the [] )

Right click the game and go to properties and click Local files.
Now right click the .exe for the game and click create shortcut and drag it to your desktop.
Right click the shortcut and go to properties and go to the shortcut tab
in the target box go the the end of the line behind the " and add "-framelimit [number]"
then change [number] in 30, 60, 120 or whichever you prefer for your frames and apply and ok.

It should then look something like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Giants - Citizen Kabuto\Giants.exe" -framelimit 60

Now everytime you want to play the game you launch through this shortcut.

A good to hear! Yeah, GMM doesn't really work together with the latest patch, so that's where the problems probably came from!
