Ripper rebellion

Post by Giants_Gamer32 »

What ? ripper rebellion ? anyone noticed that if a ripper attacks his barrack accidentantly all his other mates will chase and attack him ? The same applies to the reapermen.
Today i was playing kabuto story 3 first mission and i was doing the big ripper cheat or trick or whatever you want to call it: beause the big rippers have more range than the medium ones they appear first when you're close to the barrack. So i do that i walk surrounding the barrack but at enought distance to avoid the medium rippers to spot you, but the big one does. I stop when the big ripper is in front of the barrack and i'm behing it, so instead he damages his barrack when firing his blue fireball and all the other rippers attacks him until he is killed. It's pretty funny to see it and that's what i call myself a "ripper rebellion". But today the case was different, this time there were no big rippers and was a medium sized who shot the barrack and curiously he was attacking at nobody, shooting at the air and when he burrowed he went off of the map and the other furious mates where chasing him ! This picture shows it:

The first burrowing ripper that is touching the horizon is the ripper who damaged his barrack and was acting strangely, the other 3 where simply trying to hunt him. After half a minute they dissapeared of the map and never was known about them.

Lol, I didn't know rippers could attack one another, but I did know that you could make a war between the reapers and rippers.
The easiest way is to fly with a gyro between the ripper barrack and the reaper turrets (the non-homing turrets) in Mecc Story 5, the Battle.
I recommend you destroy the SAM turrets first, because those will only damage you.
It's a bit tricky, but you have to fly exactly between the ripper barracks and the turret, if the turret shoots, use nitro to evade the bullet.
The bullet will then hit the ripper barracks (if you do it correctly).
The rippers will attack the turrets, and the seareapers will attack the rippers.
It's fun to look at the fight, just fly a little bit higher so you can see the whole area and enjoy the beautiful view of rippers and reapers killing each other ^_^

Mmm, the closest turrets to the ripper barracks are Sam. The other two are behind a mountain wall next to the Reapermen's palace, and they're so far to spot you before rippers do it.

The bullets from the normal turrets have (almost) infinite range (at least, when I play it) they should be able to hit the upper part of the ripper barracks.
The reapermen and rippers will attack you, but as long as you don't shoot at them, they will attack each other if the barracks are hit (it works best when you let the turret shoot multiple hits and make it destroy the ripper barracks)[/img]

I'll try this and see if it works for me  .

This is actually a feature that the programmers thought about and added? Or is it made so it checks who is the "owner" or group that attack us and afterwards we attack them..?

Looks like they're teamed up by the evil faction (reapers and rippers) but if someone attacks his own barrack or another barrack, everybody will chase him except if they spot you, at least if you're kabuto, who is a much greater threat. I call it simply a rebellion because that's what it is, barracks seems to be like their home and they will protect it like if it was a treasure until they die. But cannot understand how those alien rippers are teamed up with the rest of the evil forces, when they look like more of predators in a neutral side (they would attack anyone who differs from his race). Reapermen are the men, and Sea reapers the women, but are the rippers their dogs or pets ? Maybe.
