Post by HellSnake »

i noticed that grm writes some bin files to the bin folder(not .gzp, .BIN!)

my question is, with what program do u modify/open/create the giants.bin files?

EDIT

the readme said that tassin did the bin work, so tassin, how did u do it?!

and another1(yea i know im horrible  )

i noticed that GRM and GF3 both make gzp files,
a-GF3.gzp and a-GRM.gzp

i want to know, how do u make giants use your gzp files?
u just need to put a- infront of it?

EDIT

iv'e experimented with it and i've put a a-crack.gzp and a crack.gzp file in the bin folder, they both seemed to work

so i ques u just put a- infront of it to let know its a patch?

.pso is a pixel shader file, .vso is a vertex shader file

the reason those start with an A- is because giants loads the gzps in alphabetical order, and you want it to load your files first (i'm not sure why, it should be second to last last, right before what I assume override is)
