We demand maps!

We're going to include maps with 1.5 - preferably a lot of them, and we want your suggestions as to what you want to see included.

Obviously, we'd only be accepting ones that are absurdly good and don't have any technical issues, or aren't otherwise overly gimmicky.

Would it be possible to include a map where everyone fights against a reaper fortress while building a base? Now on patch 1.5 it's possible to join while doing a "build base" mode. There are a couple of them already from story mode (the only problem would be when you blow up their fortress...that should probably end the match). The fortresses should probably spam much more soldiers out at once.

Except from the ones in story mode, I don't have anything else I can think of. I haven't played other maps so much. But of course, you don't have to have a base to play. It just changes the setting.

And yes, we are open to accepting new maps as well. ;)
please tell me that the 1.5 patch isnt going to be released this week!
cuz im making a really cool map in my vacation (space map)
if its done i will upload it, i think its going to be a very orginel and fun map

There is no secret place to find any maps. You either go to this site's archives and find all of them, or ask friends to play on their custom maps that haven't been uploaded.

thx for posting a link to my website.. ;)

well using reaper guards on a multiplayer map has proven to be alittle tricky, maybe in the patch they will change that - who knows, but the problem is that EVERY player that joins that map with the reaper guards will get their OWN set of reaper guards so if 10 players join there will be 10xreaper guards that are spawned.. same goes with other AI.

Zophy, some of my maps arent that bad, sure some are not the normal kind but I think some should be approved..

Something that makes you seem all hope is lost (obviously its not, but still, creates that scary, eerie feeling).

Like, the Mecc base at the bottom of a deep hole (like Sapphos Volcano deep), and about half way to the top is a ledge, and on that ledge, Reaper Barracks, that spawn flying seareapermen.

So, when you provoke them, they'll be flying around your base, and like I said, creates that feeling of helplessness, when flying enemies are attacking you.

AI has never quite worked online - fixing this may or may not be practical in the slightest bit.

ok here goes:

3Way - Small Battlefield or MvM - Small Battlefield
those two maps arent bad, they have bases, smarties and vimps.
alot of water so kabuto has to be careful were he goes and the mvm version has an artic enviroment..

MvM - Another Lost World
huge map, not bad also has bases, smarties and vimps (lets call it BSV), also there are some places where you can get some awsome screenshots for your desktop also there is a dactyl flying around..

MvM - Duel Dunes or RvR - Soul Conquest
these two maps are the same, tho - the reaper the map has an artic enviroment.. + it has BSV..

RvR - Another Lost World
this map is not like the MvM version, the map is different, might be alittle huge but with the abilities of the reapers that shouldnt be a problem. it also has BSV..

MvM - The Smartie Tower or RvR - The Smartie Tower
there is a difference between these, they have BSV, tho the object count on these maps are high because of "the building" but I think its a good map worth playing. RvR version has an artic enviroment and the bases are alittle different from the MvM version..

By the way, will the integration of GMM into Giants work like the mappack1 ?

Not quite. Giants will be able to (actually, it already can in the current beta version) load .gck files directly without GMM and add them to the multiplayer world list. Support for automatic in-game map transfers to players who don't have them is also planned.

Added Wilderness and Vertigo to the list of maps under consideration.

Ok.

So you have solved the problem with the number of maps which can be displayed in this list?
There was a selecter in the mappack1 for this.
