Signatures

I know this has been said before, but I would really like signatures to be enabled. I mean, we could tell anyone who has a big avatar to take it down, right? I think we should give it a try.

King disabled them because some people abused their privliages and went way over the size limit. . . . .

The size limit on the avatars prevents them from using idiotic amounts of bandwidth. Images used in signatures however, have no such restrictions. It is thus inevitable that, should they be enabled, some dipshit will go "omgIMGONAMAKEMYSALFAGR8BIGSIGNATURECUZIMKEWL", like several did here before King blew them up.

Back in the day I believe.. it was quite a long time ago.

Zop is right about the signatures. People started bloating them to the point that they took up more space than the posts themselves (not fun for those that have to moderate :) ).

Well.. not so many users anymore on the forum. And I don't think any of the active members would abuse the right for sig's and bloat em out of the limits.. I think you could at least try with the main reason that all the users that are still active arent complete retards..

On other forums they gots signatures and anyone who will abuse them, well, the admin would sorta go into his/her profile and get rid of it (admins can edit peoples profile)

So, if King puts them on we'll see how it goes and if all goes well, we'll have them, if not, then he turns 'em back off

But I dont see the point of having avatars but not signatures

see the connection? I doubt any of you guys that are active now are so annoying and immature.. you can always try, and if its proven that some people are still childish bitches, just disable em again.

100 x 100?

this will be the size of sig ull get then:

Image

the length could easely be 800 pixels.. the height would be the biggest problem..

If a sig is too long the posts will be a mile >>>>>> thataway
and if its too high the sig's will take up more space than the posts..
