What about them? I haven't seen a decent reason to increase Mecc ammo in this thread. "Lots of people don't have ammo in the middle of a fight" - what kind of fight are we talking about? There's only a few situations I can think of. if you run out of ammo in an MvM you've likely got a few ...

Yeah, it used to drain about 3 per shot for me. 2400/3=800 which means the ammo only went down a few hundred for most people.

Why? With 600 it's capable of doing over 7,000 damage, Kabuto has 2,000 hp.

You're supposed to run out of ammo sometimes. I've never seen my team run out of mines in 1.5 though with the increased limit, even in a few ~16 player MvM games. Old mines automatically detonate after a few minutes which helps a lot. In 1.4 there was always a few mines out in the middle of nowhere ...

yeah, just put them in an rar and rename the file extension to .gck then drop it in the \worlds folder if you have 1.5.

The smarties respawn instantly on that level, so just find one above a high surface that's easy to get to and get that same one over and over. You get a nitro upgrade for the jetpack soon in singleplayer and you always have it in multiplayer, it helps.

You can use GRM if you use 1.4, which adds nicer looking effects and textures. 1.5 (1.497) adds weather to the maps, fixes some crashes and adds a few other graphical enhancements (but not as many as GRM.) He already implemented a "very high" model detail setting which increases the range at which objects are visible and their level of detail.

View distance mainly controls fog, increasing it too much would result in there being no fog I think, and maps without fog look like crap.

* To balance the Kabuto Vs Mecc(s) games, to increase Kabuto max hit points each time a new player joins the match. Also, to decrease his original hit points if there is only one mecc. Or give to this mecc a good extra damage per hit (I don't mean to make easy to kill Kabuto. But a chance to do it)...

if you turn on object bump-mapping Kabuto will have a bumpmap like that screenshot, I don't think that option affects anything else in the game though.

Also in Mecc vs. Mecc matches they always kill me with 2 or 3 proximity missiles, and me i need at least 5 or 6. I'm pretty sure it takes 4 prox missiles to kill a jetter, if they use the syringe after being hit twice. If you use it after being hit once, I think it only takes 3? Your opponent may a...

.pso is a pixel shader file, .vso is a vertex shader file

the reason those start with an A- is because giants loads the gzps in alphabetical order, and you want it to load your files first (i'm not sure why, it should be second to last last, right before what I assume override is)
